We all know it.

We can feel it. 

This is a pivotal moment in our lifetime and we at Shazzy Fitness are here for it. 

We have always known that dance is powerful and can bring so much hope, unity and joy - even in the middle of pain.  

You are also probably witnessing that truth wherever you are too. We have seen dance parties break out right in the middle of peaceful protests all over the nation as we work together to once and for all eradicate racism in all of its forms.

Through dance, we have created a diverse Shazzy Fitness family that not only embraces inclusion and equality for all, but celebrates that we are allcolorful masterpieces, united in our love for God and dedicated to loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.   

Our dedication to loving our neighbor means that we speak up for one another, we seek justice on each other’s behalf, and we look for ways to build up and edify each other. 

To that end, will you please join us as we pray for -

…relentless hope
… lasting change 
…peace in our nation

and the 
 …courage to see 

which roles we should play individually and collectively?  

We pray that hearts would be open not only to self-examination to see if there is anything that needs to be rooted out, but that we also would be brave and lean into tough conversations with our families, neighbors, friends and community. 

There is an undeniable hope that is rising right now as we see our African-American brothers and sisters begin to unpack painful truths -
while others compassionately listen and say, 

“I may not have understood before, but I believe you, I see you,  I am here to stand alongside you for as long as it takes for real lasting change to become a reality.” 

There is so much work to be done, but we know that together we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.

There is a saying that goes, “When you don’t know what to do next, do the next right thing.” 

So, we challenge you and we challenge ourselves, to ask:

what is the next right thing? 

and how can we help each other to not only do the next right thing, but the next and the next …?

until freedom, justice and equality has come for all.
