True friendship is God's tangible gift of His love for us. Real friends are a comfort, encouragement and bring us joy for the journey of life.
Proverbs 27:17 speaks of iron sharpening iron. Honesty, trust, support and reliability are just some of the ways a friendship is sharpened, made solid and sure.
These 2 folks are my closest friends. I had no idea when we met 3 years ago that these incredibly talented dancers/instructors/choreographers would one day by my besties :)
I still can't believe that I talked them into helping me birth this bold new dance fitness workout concept using only Christian hip-hop music, something that God planted in my heart so many years earlier.
We support each other, have fun together, accept each other and pray for each other daily.
They have been there with me through some rough times, times when my faith was actually smaller than a mustard-seed. So, I always try my best to be there for them as well.
I think the mark of a true friend is someone with whom you can call and talk about "nothing" or call and talk about every thing under the sun - people who have faith in you when you don't have faith in yourself, who really understand you and still like you even in your most unlikeable moments.
If you have a good friend make sure you continue to do your part to nourish that relationship. Give them a call today and tell them how much you value and appreciate their presence in your life.
You will both be glad you did.
Be well & Be Blessed.
