Can Your Dream Save a Nation?

Joseph had a dream. In Joseph’s dream, he saw binding sheaves of grain in the field. Suddenly his sheaf rose and stood upright, while his brother’s sheaves gathered around his sheaf and bowed down to it.

Joseph told the dream to his brothers but they rejected what he said. Joseph’s brothers hated him and rejected what he said because they thought Joseph was trying to gain control over them. It was bad enough that Joseph was already being given special treatment. Joseph’s father, Israel, loved him more than any of his brothers because he was born to him in his old age. Israel made a robe for Joseph of many colors. His brother’s hatred of him turned ugly, and Joseph was eventually sold into slavery. At the age of 17, Joseph was sold as a slave to Egypt. But God had a plan and was leading Joseph to his divine appointment.

Fast forward 13 years. God’s word says that the Pharaoh of Egypt had a dream but was troubled because he couldn’t interpret it. Joseph, now 30, had the gift of interpreting dreams and was summoned to the palace to help interpret Pharaoh’s dream. Joseph told Pharaoh that a famine was about to occur. Not only did God give Joseph the gift of interpreting the dream, but He gave him the administrative skills to direct the flow of food so that there would always be a supply. Pharaoh honored Joseph by putting him in charge over his palace and over the land.

God destined Joseph to do a great work for a perfect time. He positioned him in a perfect place, so that his gift could be used to help save a nation—including his family—from dying of hunger.

Did God give you an idea for a product or service to help a certain population?

Do you believe that your idea is powerful enough to help solve a health problem?

Do you have a burden to help decrease a health burden and have been tinkering around trying to find a way to launch your business?

Your idea, written out in a business plan, could be influential enough to heal a nation of people suffering from heart disease, diabetes, stroke; the list goes on. If you commit yourself to action, and will yourself to serving other people, God can position you for a perfect time, the perfect place, for the hurting population. A nation that so much deserves to be saved.
