Move, Groove, Amen. 7 Day Challenge - Day 5: Bring it!

Ok it's Day 5 now and I don't know about you, but I've started to notice that even I'm a bit slow getting started with the workout (cause I'm the best procrastinator on the planet), once I'm finished with the workout I'm actually ready to do more.

I mean, it doesn't just get my heart pumping, but the moves and music and the choreography are challenging enough so that I don't get bored but also not so hard that I get totally frustrated.

Many people are surprised to know that I'm not a professional dancer, not even a really good amateur dancer.  I can follow instruction and with a lot of hard work, I can actually appear to know what I'm doing but it does not come naturally to me like it does to Vera and Apollo.  I mean, I have to think about it and I have to work at it.

But there is an incredible feeling for people like me who aren't professionals, but who yearn to live the dream, if only in our own minds for just a few minutes, of being a *real* dancer.  I think that's really where the fun lies - in experiencing the dream.  For those of you who are really good at dancing, the dream I speak of is probably foreign. Your reasons for loving Shazzy Fitness are probably very different, and so are your fitness goals.  But for the rest of us that are semi-ok at dancing or complete newbies, we've looked at people who can dance our whole lives and always thought to ourselves, 'Man, I wish I could do that'.

So, for just a few minutes last night, I lived the dream. And I guess ultimately, I experienced the triumph.

I finished the Triumph workout and seriously was ready to do it twice - but I held back.  Too much work was still ahead of me and I didn't want to spoil the next day's workout LOL!

I'm definitely ready for Day 5 though.
