Vera Rose - Choreographer, Dancer, Instructor

Vera Rose, a five-year veteran and former captain of the A-Town Dancers of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks, received Christ at an early age and grew in her faith as a long-time member of Zion Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.

Vera has over 20 years of dance training and performing experience and has taught a range of classes, and performed for recording artists and special events including Purple Ribbon Artists, Bobby Valentino and the BET Hip Hop Awards.  In December 2011, Vera completed a tour with the theatrical production called DRUMLine Live!  She was the dance captain for the show which has travelled nationally and internationally.  In 2012, Vera completed a show run as a cast member and the dance captain of the Pop 40 and Rhythm & Grooves stage shows at Six Flags Over Georgia.

When Vera is not leading Shazzy classes, she teaches a variety of beginner and master dance and fitness classes including ballet, tap and jazz to young dancers throughout the Atlanta area.
